Mihăiţă Fărcașu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Macamete in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's Horea Stelea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihăiţă Fărcașu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ion Văcărescu's late challenge caught a Navigatii Bacău's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ion Văcărescu helped the player get up and apologised. Mihăiţă Fărcașu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Rywin in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Rywin got free with Mihăiţă Fărcașu in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mihăiţă Fărcașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ion Văcărescu made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Navigatii Bacău's Adam Rywin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihăiţă Fărcașu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Cănănău kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Cristian Mirciu made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ion Văcărescu sent off a good shot on target. Iosif Macamete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Mihăiţă Fărcașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihăiţă Fărcașu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Stelea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sever Piţurcă fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC TraLaLa's protests and gave Sever Piţurcă a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC TraLaLa getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Sever Piţurcă hit a great ball. When Adam Rywin came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Navigatii Bacău fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Rywin couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Lucian Găman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC TraLaLa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
