Călin Prunaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İrfan Attar in the 10th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfonso Irureta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sandu Vlaicu. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Sandu Vlaicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Isbășoiu in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Axelsson in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Urzicuța's goalkeeper Sandu Vlaicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC MCM's Călin Prunaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İrfan Attar in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Adrian Isbășoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandu Vlaicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Daniel Ciolofan in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Urzicuța's Lisandro Taurino. 34 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when İrfan Attar came free, but Călin Prunaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC MCM defense, Kulabhusana Karabashlykov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Călin Prunaru. The FC MCM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Călin Prunaru should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Isbășoiu in the 41st minute of play forced FC Urzicuța's goalkeeper Sandu Vlaicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC MCM fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when FC MCM's Viktor Axelsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İrfan Attar made a kick off. A collision led to FC Urzicuța getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İrfan Attar in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Călin Prunaru saved FC MCM from getting behind. FC MCM's Călin Prunaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FC MCM from getting a goal against them. Călin Prunaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İrfan Attar in the 66th minute of the match. Sandu Vlaicu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. FC Urzicuța made a substitution. Sorin Bârlă replaced İrfan Attar. FC MCM's Cătălin Agulescu was substituted for Viktor Axelsson. In the 91st minute Sorin Bârlă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Prunaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd play minute Sorin Bârlă came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Călin Prunaru. 3-3. Kulabhusana Karabashlykov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Călin Prunaru came out and tried to block the shot, but Kulabhusana Karabashlykov slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 95th minute.
