The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Viktor Axelsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Bîndean was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, FC Inter Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Axelsson came free, but David Bîndean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Inter Craiova fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when FC Inter Craiova's Marian Maghiran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Călin Prunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Prisecaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Petre Prisecaru kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match, Adrian Isbășoiu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Bîndean saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to FC MCM getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alfonso Irureta hit a great ball. Marian Maghiran took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Prunaru. Călin Prunaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 蔡飞耀 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Călin Prunaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, FC Inter Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Prisecaru to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Marian Maghiran made the kick off in the second half. Călin Prunaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 蔡飞耀, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 51 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when 蔡飞耀 came free, but Călin Prunaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, FC Inter Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Paul Moscatelli came free, but David Bîndean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Focșa's late challenge caught a FC MCM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Focșa helped the player get up and apologised. FC MCM made a substitution. Cătălin Agulescu replaced Viktor Axelsson. A collision led to FC Inter Craiova getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ivan Focșa hit a great ball. FC Inter Craiova's David Bîndean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Isbășoiu in the 71st minute of play. David Bîndean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Paul Moscatelli in the 72nd minute of play. FC MCM's Vali Cârnu was substituted for Jean Paul Moscatelli. With a little luck, FC MCM's Călin Prunaru got control of the ball when 蔡飞耀 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Călin Prunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Maghiran, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 94th match minute, FC MCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Isbășoiu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC MCM's zone, 蔡飞耀 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Călin Prunaru came out of the goal and 蔡飞耀 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Inter Craiova walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
