AC Ony's Santa Jøker was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victor Negara in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Victor Negara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santa Jøker in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Santa Jøker recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victor Negara. Santa Jøker showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Cisco Rubial showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Frunză in the 26th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandu Flintașu during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, AC Ony's Sandu Flintașu got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Márk Vermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 31 minutes, Alexandru Tudorică managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rovine Craiova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandru Tudorică was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cisco Rubial showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Frunză, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Sandu Flintașu kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes, Rovine Craiova's Alexandru Tudorică shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cisco Rubial came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rovine Craiova reached it. In the 45th minute, Jyrki Saarelainen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cisco Rubial was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santa Jøker to make the kick off. Daniel Popa's late challenge caught a Rovine Craiova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Popa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rovine Craiova booed when AC Ony was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Popa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Manole Frunză took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Cisco Rubial to make any attempt to save it. 76 minutes into the game, Manole Frunză recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cisco Rubial. Manole Frunză showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. After 79 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Tudorică. Alexandru Tudorică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jyrki Saarelainen in the 85th minute of play forced AC Ony's goalkeeper Cisco Rubial to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, AC Ony's Cisco Rubial got control of the ball when Alexandru Tudorică tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rovine Craiova's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
