Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Batistuta in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Batistuta in the 3rd minute of play forced Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Victor Negara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dumitru Purcărete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers James Batistuta in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Negara saved Rovine Craiova from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Scorpio in the 15th minute of play forced Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Victor Negara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandru Tudorică. King Scorpio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Victor Negara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Negara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 21st minute of the match. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save A4p FC Gad from getting a goal against them. Alexandru Tudorică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. King Scorpio scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Negara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers King Scorpio in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Negara saved Rovine Craiova from getting behind. The audience was convinced that King Scorpio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Negara was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. A4p FC Gad were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Rovine Craiova's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcin Pachucki took the corner. In the 47th minute, Iulian Berceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manole Frunzăs short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Glenn Fyfe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 52 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Rasialdo. King Scorpio might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Negara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. King Scorpio ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when King Scorpio got free with Victor Negara in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Negara made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when James Batistuta sent off a good shot on target. James Batistuta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Victor Negara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Victor Negara made an important save on a dangerous shot by James Batistuta in the 62nd minute. If King Scorpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A4p FC Gad's Flavius Cândroveanu was substituted for Alessandro Del Piero. King Scorpio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when King Scorpio got free with Victor Negara in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A4p FC Gad's Gică Busuioc was substituted for James Batistuta. Manole Frunză kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Rovine Craiova booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dumitru Purcărete didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jyrki Saarelainen in the 74th minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glenn Fyfe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jyrki Saarelainen in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Rovine Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when King Scorpio came free, but Victor Negara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. King Scorpios short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Victor Negara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 79th minute Alexandru Tudorică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that King Scorpio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Negara was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 83 minutes into the game, A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Negara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 88th minute of the match, King Scorpio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victor Negara saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Glenn Fyfe came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Rovine Craiova's Alexandru Tudorică. But to his dismay, Alexandru Tudorică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Victor Negara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from King Scorpio went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Victor Negara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 95th minute of the match. Victor Negara came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by A4p FC Gad's Gică Busuioc. But to his dismay, Gică Busuioc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. A4p FC Gad's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
