Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iordache Donici started the match with the kick off. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Iordache Donici got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Sorin Nicorici got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Cazimir Bărbătescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C Ａ R D I N Ａ L fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Moise Ţurlău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Ţugui in the 13th minute of play. Calistrat Loghin hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Cazimir Bărbătescu took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moise Ţurlău. Moise Ţurlău dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Moise Ţurlău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ţugui in the 18th minute of the match. Gu Hui Liang kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Cazimir Bărbătescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Moise Ţurlău skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Leonard Moarcăș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Gu Hui Liang in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Calistrat Loghin. 35 minutes into the match, Jean-Jacques Ares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Moise Ţurlău, 4-0. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Moise Ţurlău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Donici in the 38th minute of play. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Yang Ming Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Moarcăș in the 41st minute of play. Moise Ţurlău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Ponor in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iordache Donici got free with Moise Ţurlău in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Horea Vrejiu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Horea Vrejiu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Horea Vrejiu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonard Moarcăș to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Iordache Donici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Ţurlău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Jacques Ares in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moise Ţurlău prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Ţugui came free, but Moise Ţurlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Cazimir Bărbătescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Moise Ţurlău was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute, Jean-Jacques Ares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moise Ţurlău was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Roland Smolarek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Moise Ţurlău. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Moise Ţurlău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Donici in the 68th minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Golo Phoenix to maneuver through the defense. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L made a substitution. Herminio Vincente replaced Roland Smolarek. A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Golo Phoenix hit a great ball. Moise Ţurlău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ţugui in the 75th minute of the match. Gu Hui Liang kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Iordache Donici's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moise Ţurlău was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Deng Kun Xu was substituted for Iordache Donici. In the 84th minute C Ａ R D I N Ａ L were awarded a corner. Cazimir Bărbătescu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jean-Jacques Ares got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Moise Ţurlău quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jean-Jacques Ares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Moise Ţurlău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moise Ţurlău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Ţugui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calistrat Loghin charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calistrat Loghin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's zone, Deng Kun Xu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moise Ţurlău came out of the goal and Deng Kun Xu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute Robert Ţugui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Ţurlău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Deng Kun Xu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Moise Ţurlău was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that C Ａ R D I N Ａ L were the better team. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
