In the 2nd minute, Scorpions -MM-'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Beat Miner fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 5 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Popcorn Miner came free, but Walter Zenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Vit Miner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Zenga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Simula Miner came free, but Walter Zenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Vrânceanu to maneuver through the defense. Walter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Popcorn Miner in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Costel Ţintă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Postelnicescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beat Miner in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga got control of the ball when Vit Miner tried to sneak it across the goal line. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Popcorn Miner in the 20th minute. After taking down the ball on CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's corner Beat Miner fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Walter Zenga quite easily take care of the ball. Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Scorpions -MM- from getting a goal against them. Walter Zenga was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Popcorn Miner capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Popcorn Miner really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With a little luck, Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga got control of the ball when Vit Miner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walter Zenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Popcorn Miner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simula Miner in the 28th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Walter Zenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Dorinel Munteanu hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Beat Miner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Zenga. Scorpions -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beat Miner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 38 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Alex Brașoveanu came free, but Walter Zenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simula Miner in the 39th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Walter Zenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Vit Miner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walter Zenga. Vit Miner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Simula Miner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Walter Zenga made a huge save. 5-0 became the score in the 47th minute when Simula Miner elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergiu Golescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Walter Zenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Popcorn Miner in the 55th minute of play. Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simula Miner in the 56th minute of play. Ştefan Cipău hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Popcorn Miner scored 6-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Zenga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute, Popcorn Miner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simula Miner in the 63rd minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Walter Zenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Scorpions -MM- defense, Popcorn Miner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walter Zenga. The Scorpions -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walter Zenga should have stopped the shot. Scorpions -MM-'s Traian Uzuneanu was substituted for Dorinel Munteanu. Vit Miner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Zenga having to make a save. After 71 minutes of play, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Simula Miner made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Zenga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simula Miner in the 74th minute of play. Walter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Popcorn Miner in the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Vit Miner made a precise shot to the right of Walter Zenga. Scorpions -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Walter Zenga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simula Miner went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Simula Miner sped through Scorpions -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Walter Zenga. 95 minutes into the match, Simula Miner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Zenga. Scorpions -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simula Miner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0.
