The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, Esquirla FC's Lukas Caers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joos Teurfs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florian Caes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Tan in the 16th minute of play. Lukas Caers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Joos Teurfs made a huge save. Tiberiu Florescu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a little luck, North Hill United's Joos Teurfs got control of the ball when Lukas Caers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florian Caes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Tan in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Esquirla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Tan came free, but Florian Caes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Lukas Caers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joos Teurfs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes Esquirla FC got a freekick which was hit by Seppe Baert. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Tan in the 79th minute of play forced Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Florian Caes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joos Teurfs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Caers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Esquirla FC's Kurt Vrancx got a free kick in the 90th minute. The audience was convinced that Alexander Tan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florian Caes was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Esquirla FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kurt Vrancx in the 97th minute. Despite being the better team, North Hill United failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
