Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teo De Jonge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Weijnandts in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Reinaert Vischkens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Vliegplein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suikerklontjes the free kick. Teo De Jonge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoachim Hauwaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Sammy Godts yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 46 minutes into the match, Suikerklontjes's goalkeeper Sammy Godts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdinand Weijnants. Teo De Jonge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Weijnandts, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johannes Weijnandts to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Paul-Louis Jannes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Sammy Godts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Weijnandts in the 58th minute of play. Teo De Jonge made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Johannes Weijnandts sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Ferdinand Weijnants got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sammy Godts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Weijnants in the 61st minute of the match. Matias Gilis hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Suikerklontjes's Teo Slabbaert got a free kick in the 78th minute. Reinaert Vischkens scored 5-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sammy Godts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teo De Jonge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yoachim Hauwaerts in the 88th minute. Dimitri Fouquet might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sammy Godts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimitri Fouquet ran back to his position shaking his head. Dimitri Fouquet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Sammy Godts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Weijnants, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KFC Vliegplein walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
