Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zinon Potamias kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes, Adolphe De Maerschalckx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YR Mechelen and the FC Klavertje Vier players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adolphe De Maerschalckx hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the game, Jozef Van Acker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. YR Mechelen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Klavertje Vier the free kick. In the 4th match minute, YR Mechelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jozef Van Acker to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Marchefka in the 5th minute of play forced YR Mechelen's goalkeeper Andries Van Mechelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Xavier Van Beringen managed to get in a good position for a shot. YR Mechelen's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Van Beringen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zabulón Carabajal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Xavier Van Beringen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joery Hylen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute, YR Mechelen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joery Hylen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, YR Mechelen's Vincent Van Mechelen got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute of the game Bertrand Sielens made a throw-in which Jean-Louis Koula played forward. In the 33rd minute, Gwen Shamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andries Van Mechelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zinon Potamias, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Andries Van Mechelen came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Klavertje Vier's Zinon Potamias. But to his dismay, Zinon Potamias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. YR Mechelen's Andries Van Mechelen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save YR Mechelen from getting a goal against them. When Jozef Van Acker was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Pieter Koninckx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zinon Potamias in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andries Van Mechelen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andries Van Mechelen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinon Potamias in the 53rd minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, FC Klavertje Vier's Zinon Potamias made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andries Van Mechelen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bertrand Sielens made in the 60th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Iwan Marchefka immediately put the ball in play. Andries Van Mechelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwan Marchefka, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in YR Mechelen's zone, Zinon Potamias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andries Van Mechelen came out of the goal and Zinon Potamias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jan-Pieter Koninckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Klavertje Vier's Lelo Orihuela was substituted for Iwan Marchefka. In the 75th minute Philipp Van Kestbeek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andries Van Mechelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Pieter Koninckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Zabulón Carabajal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, FC Klavertje Vier's Zinon Potamias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andries Van Mechelen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 84 minutes in the game Bertrand Sielens did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lelo Orihuela. 87 minutes into the game, Philipp Van Kestbeek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Andries Van Mechelen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andries Van Mechelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zinon Potamias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Philipp Van Kestbeek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andries Van Mechelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andries Van Mechelen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philipp Van Kestbeek in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's goal looked a bit too open when Philipp Van Kestbeek came free, but Andries Van Mechelen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
