Sjötorp IF's Roger Fagrell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Sjötorp IF from getting a goal against them. Sjötorp IF's Andreas Alm managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Karl-Magnus Persson in the 11 minute of the game. After 17 minutes BK Ugglan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Doni Muli who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henk Van Linthout in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Fagrell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roger Fagrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Van Linthout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes Sjötorp IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dong Ting Fan who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on BK Ugglan's corner Dong Ting Fan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roger Fagrell quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the BK Ugglan defense, Nicklas Lindqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Fagrell. The BK Ugglan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Fagrell should have stopped the shot. Patrik Fagrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicklas Lindqvist in the 33rd minute of the match. If Gunnar Ahlerot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as BK Ugglan's Henk Van Linthout slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roger Fagrell. That made the score 1-1 after 43 minutes of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicklas Lindqvist was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Henk Van Linthout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Fagrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Kinnman hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Nicklas Lindqvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patrik Fagrell firmly grabbed it by the left post. The throw-in from Aleksander Kjellqvist in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sjötorp IF's Gunnar Ahlerot. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicklas Lindqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patrik Fagrell. That made the score 1-2 in the 64 minute of play. Patrik Fagrell made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Nicklas Lindqvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute BK Ugglan were awarded a corner. Per Paulin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on BK Ugglan's corner Per Paulin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roger Fagrell quite easily take care of the ball. When Nicklas Lindqvist came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Sjötorp IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicklas Lindqvist couldn't finish the play. When Jens-Ove Deckbergh fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Ugglan's protests and gave Jens-Ove Deckbergh a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, BK Ugglan's Jens-Ove Deckbergh got a free kick in the 74th minute. If Henk Van Linthout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Henk Van Linthout had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roger Fagrell. Sjötorp IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henk Van Linthout was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 82nd minute, Nicklas Lindqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doni Muli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Patrik Fagrell made a huge save. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sjötorp IF's goalkeeper Roger Fagrell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrik Fagrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicklas Lindqvist in the 90th minute of the match. Nicklas Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Patrik Fagrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
