Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Matthias Bern kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, G A I S's goal looked a bit too open when Nicklas Lindqvist came free, but Staffan Eckegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind G A I S's goalkeeper Staffan Eckegren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sjötorp IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Doni Muli in the 6th minute. A nice corner shot did that Doni Muli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Staffan Eckegren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 8 minutes into the match, Nicklas Lindqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Staffan Eckegren. G A I S's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicklas Lindqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Jernberg in the 12th minute of play forced Sjötorp IF's goalkeeper Roger Fagrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Staffan Eckegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicklas Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Nicklas Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sjötorp IF's zone, John Jernberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Fagrell came out of the goal and John Jernberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 played minutes G A I S got a freekick which was hit by Zavior Moiselo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Bern got free with Roger Fagrell in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Göran Wahlström with John Jernberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 27 minutes into the match, Sjötorp IF's goalkeeper Roger Fagrell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthias Bern. Matthias Bern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Roger Fagrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthias Bern might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Fagrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matthias Bern ran back to his position shaking his head. A sloppy throw-in by Robert Andersson in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by G A I S's Göran Wahlström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicklas Lindqvist in the 38th minute of play forced G A I S's goalkeeper Staffan Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicklas Lindqvist in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Staffan Eckegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Nicklas Lindqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sjötorp IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The G A I S players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sjötorp IF were winning 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Sjötorp IF's Nicklas Lindqvist got a free kick in the 51st minute. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-2 when John Jernberg sped through Sjötorp IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roger Fagrell. Roger Fagrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Jernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigoris Papachristoulis's late challenge caught a G A I S's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grigoris Papachristoulis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of G A I S booed when Sjötorp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigoris Papachristoulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sjötorp IF made a substitution. Andreas Alm replaced Nicklas Lindqvist. After a rather tough play, Sjötorp IF's Grigoris Papachristoulis got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Jernberg in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Fagrell saved Sjötorp IF from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Qvarnström in the 77th minute of play forced G A I S's goalkeeper Staffan Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Sjötorp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Bern came free, but Roger Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Bern in the 93rd minute of play forced Sjötorp IF's goalkeeper Roger Fagrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The G A I S fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sjötorp IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
