After 4 minutes of play, Skövde AIK's Kevin Keegan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Ersman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kurt Hamrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Chen Ao Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Fyrktorget FK defense, Kevin Keegan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Douglas Ersman. The Fyrktorget FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Douglas Ersman should have stopped the shot. After 11 minutes, Chen Ao Fan made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Fyrktorget FK's Douglas Ersman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chen Ao Fan took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Ersman. Douglas Ersman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Chen Ao Fan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chen Ao Fan in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Ersman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kevin Keegan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Ersman having to interfere. Fyrktorget FK's Douglas Ersman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 28th minute of play. Petter Lindell hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Chen Ao Fan's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Douglas Ersman - 0-5 was put on the score board in the 34th minute. Petter Lindell kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Kevin Keegan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevin Keegan struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Douglas Ersman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skövde AIK. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chen Ao Fan in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Ersman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47thth minute of the game Chen Ao Fan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fyrktorget FK's Douglas Ersman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chen Ao Fan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kevin Keegan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Skövde AIK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fyrktorget FK's goalkeeper Douglas Ersman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kevin Keegan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th match minute, Fyrktorget FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agne Beneth to maneuver through the defense. When Georg Norström came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Skövde AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Norström couldn't finish the play. Douglas Ersman was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Kevin Keegan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kevin Keegan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. If Chen Ao Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Skövde AIK made a substitution. Jerry Williams replaced Kurt Hamrin. Douglas Ersman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chen Ao Fan got free with Douglas Ersman in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st match minute, Fyrktorget FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agne Beneth to maneuver through the defense. If Chen Ao Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Skövde AIK booed when Fyrktorget FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Dahlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Kevin Keegan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Douglas Ersman. That made the score 0-8 in the 80 minute of play. Chen Ao Fan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Chen Ao Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Keegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th match minute, Skövde AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Williams to maneuver through the defense. The Fyrktorget FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Skövde AIK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
