In the 23rd match minute, Kronan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Quexal to maneuver through the defense. Jens-Ove Gallberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aras Adıyaman. After taking down the ball on Arye Suryoye's corner Norberto Loureiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jens-Ove Gallberg quite easily take care of the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kronan's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Gallberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jens-Ove Gallberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ola Rydberg in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute David Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Käcker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Loureiro's late challenge caught a Kronan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kronan's Jens-Ove Gallberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Rydberg in the 74th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arye Suryoye fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kronan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
