When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Stefan Bogren took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Nils-Åke Dahlqvist to make any attempt to save it. In the 7th match minute, Wetterqvist Boys BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sverker Blomberg to maneuver through the defense. Lidköping's Allan Björk shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 8th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nils-Åke Dahlqvist but with some difficulty. Kristoffer Västerstrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Bergfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lidköping's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustaf Snell was slow to take the kick. During this time Wetterqvist Boys BK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Wetterqvist Boys BK's Gustaf Snell to fire away a dangerous shot which Kristoffer Västerstrand despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Nils-Åke Dahlqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Wetterqvist Boys BK from getting a goal against them. Kristoffer Västerstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Låsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Stefan Bogren sent off a good shot on target. Stefan Bogren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Stefan Bogren slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. In the 40th minute Stefan Bogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Dahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Wetterqvist Boys BK's Sven-Erik Låsberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristoffer Västerstrand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Per-Åke Myr kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Kristoffer Västerstrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristoffer Västerstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Bergfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

54 minutes into the match, Lidköping's goalkeeper Kristoffer Västerstrand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Erik Låsberg. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Bogren in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Gustaf Snell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Västerstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaf Snell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åke Olenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Wetterqvist Boys BK got a freekick which was hit by Sverker Blomberg. Stefan Bogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Bogren in the 82nd minute of play forced Wetterqvist Boys BK's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Dahlqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Åke Dahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Bogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Stefan Bogren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lidköping booed when Wetterqvist Boys BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverker Blomberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Erik Beckman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. A collision led to Wetterqvist Boys BK getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Sven-Erik Beckman hit a great ball. Allan Björk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nils-Åke Dahlqvist. Wetterqvist Boys BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
