Oskar Lägdin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Pelle Forsman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marco Van Der Taelens short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Pelle Forsman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

BK Kenty Linköping's Pelle Forsman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Lägdin in the 57th minute of play. Belton Maddern kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The NIKE Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Lu Lin took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pelle Forsman. Pelle Forsman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. NIKE Academy's Christoforos Manousopoulos managed to work through BK Kenty Linköping's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Christoforos Manousopoulos dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Oskar Lägdin scored 8-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pelle Forsman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. NIKE Academy fully deserved thier win.
