After 3 played minutes SSC Ambrosini got a freekick which was hit by Christer Lundin. The SSC Ambrosini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Aaron Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Gerlach in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nytäppet Fc's zone, Henrik Möllgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sture Abrahamsson came out of the goal and Henrik Möllgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Chatziioannou in the 37th minute of play forced SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Aaron Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Möllgren in the 40th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Nytäppet Fc's Aaron Glanselius threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dušan Vlahović, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. SSC Ambrosini's Aaron Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomir Gerlach in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrik Möllgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the SSC Ambrosini defense, Dušan Vlahović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Glanselius. The SSC Ambrosini fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Glanselius should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Marcus Kilman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
