Christoffer Modig was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angel Lehoi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Aristide Beșliu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ian Wright's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Aristide Beșliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Wright in the 20th minute of play. Angel Lehoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honung's Aristide Beșliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Holm in the 24th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Honung's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Wright came free, but Aristide Beșliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristide Beșliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoffer Modig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Wennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute Simon Lertora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Lertora was the one to do the kick off. Christoffer Modig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Lertora in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Lehoi in the 54th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörn Holm got free with Aristide Beșliu in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christoffer Modig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Lehoi in the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when King Puck came free, but Christoffer Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christoffer Modig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from King Puck went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Aristide Beșliu came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Oakcroft Thrashers's Tage Mattsson. But to his dismay, Tage Mattsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. There was no doubt that Honung were the better team. Honung's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
