Davis Duff ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Mugurel Balaeț managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rhys Dimmock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacey Banning in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Stacey Banning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Zamalek FC's goalie and right to Felix Wedemeyer. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Zamalek FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 42 minutes into the game, Felix Wedemeyer threw the ball into play from the sideline. Zamalek FC's Viktor Schukin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, River tu grato nombre's Marlin Dawson got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, River tu grato nombre's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Balaeț came free, but Eulalio Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Mugurel Balaeț notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of River tu grato nombre's Eulalio Francesco. Eulalio Francesco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Eulalio Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daron Joseph in the 56th minute of play. Eulalio Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daron Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. River tu grato nombre made a substitution. Alfred Gozdowski replaced Pedro Augusto De Assis Moreira. River tu grato nombre's Bon Scott was substituted for Stacey Banning. Daron Joseph recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zamalek FC's Jann Bernickow was substituted for Daron Joseph. Eulalio Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jann Bernickow in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Fred Kirkpatrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rhys Dimmock made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Bon Scott sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to River tu grato nombre getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Marlin Dawson hit a great ball. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Zamalek FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zamalek FC had won after a very even match.
