In the 6th minute, Tyron Velasquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaj Helström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Niles Crane kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Lanny Gilmore might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kaj Helström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lanny Gilmore ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Lanny Gilmore came free, but Kaj Helström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Stowe City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Warren Ruiz took the corner. The corner led to Santos FC's Titus Kohler getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Aaron Smallwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ward Neal, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Santos FC's Aaron Smallwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İsmail Pekşen in the 22nd minute of play. Nils-Emil Tunström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Smallwood having to interfere. Stowe City were furious when Nathaniel Orlinsky was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stowe City! Kaj Helström went to the wrong direction when Lanny Gilmore was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Lanny Gilmore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaj Helström. Stowe City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lanny Gilmore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 45 minutes of play, Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaj Helström was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İsmail Pekşen to strike the kick off in the second half. Aaron Smallwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Tunström in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Stowe City getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ward Neal hit a great ball. If Lanny Gilmore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kaj Helström made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Lanny Gilmore sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Tyron Velasquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaj Helström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 67th minute of play forced Stowe City's goalkeeper Kaj Helström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaj Helström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lanny Gilmore in the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Mike Richardson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Richardson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stowe City made a substitution. Leo Bingham replaced İsmail Pekşen. Aaron Smallwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Bingham in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Stowe City got a corner. Santos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matt Briggs ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ward Neal kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lanny Gilmore in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaj Helström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lanny Gilmore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kaj Helström stood somewhat misplaced when Lanny Gilmore came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 86 minute. In the 89th minute Lanny Gilmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Stowe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ward Neal to maneuver through the defense. Fraser Legzdins kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Stowe City's zone, Lanny Gilmore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaj Helström came out of the goal and Lanny Gilmore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
