SC Freiburg 09's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Braga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Leal to make the kick off. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
