After some careless play in the Atlético Micaelense defense, Erlingur Haaland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gervásio Sousa. The Atlético Micaelense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervásio Sousa should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute Miguel Madruga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Oinatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Oinatz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klaus Van Mellart in the 31st minute. Gervásio Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Rosendo Oinatz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the game, Gregorie Ceusters was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fabrício Coelho made a great header on Atlético Micaelense's corner, it was just that Vitória StrikerS™'s Rosendo Oinatz managed to reach the ball for a save. Atlético Micaelense's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
