When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olívio Ribas made a kick off. Lisandro Palhares hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Herberto Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Ribas in the 56th minute of play. Fabrício Lopes scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herberto Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Fura Balizas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
