Aurelio Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Nuno in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Rio Gallegos Unidos were awarded a corner. Jonathan Balendin went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Quilo Lujarra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Iza was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Roman Iza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Bucciarelli's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Roman Iza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quilo Lujarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Lorenzo 11's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Betadur in the 22nd minute. The corner ended in Martin Betadur almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rio Gallegos Unidos's Roman Iza did a great save. When Quilo Lujarra came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the San Lorenzo 11 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quilo Lujarra couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Claudio Bucciarelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Iza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Iza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Bucciarelli's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After 27 played minutes Rio Gallegos Unidos got a freekick which was hit by Ibhya Kharka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hudson Abreu in the 29th minute of play forced Rio Gallegos Unidos's goalkeeper Roman Iza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Lorenzo 11 were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Rio Gallegos Unidos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Betadur took the corner. Matias Chepe ran back to his position shaking his head. Quilo Lujarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Roman Iza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40thth minute of the game Quilo Lujarra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rio Gallegos Unidos's Roman Iza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 minutes Rio Gallegos Unidos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Betadur who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to San Lorenzo 11's Claudio Bucciarelli getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 43 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo 11's Matias Chepe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Iza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quilo Lujarra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martin Betadur's late challenge caught a Rio Gallegos Unidos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Betadur helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quilo Lujarra in the 53rd minute of play forced Rio Gallegos Unidos's goalkeeper Roman Iza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes of play, San Lorenzo 11's Quilo Lujarra made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Iza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ibhya Kharka kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Emilio Nuno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Matias Chepe advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-6 in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quilo Lujarra got free with Roman Iza in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Rio Gallegos Unidos defense, Quilo Lujarra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Iza. The Rio Gallegos Unidos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Iza should have stopped the shot. San Lorenzo 11's Aurelio Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Nuno in the 88th minute of play. Roman Iza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Chepe in the 91st minute of the match. Roman Iza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Chepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Jonathan Balendin kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. San Lorenzo 11's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
