Leandro Corderro scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Nardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Florida Gulf Coast's John James managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Celedonio Ariando in the 30 minute of the game. Lukáš Katačić took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesario Roma. Cesario Roma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Florida Gulf Coast's Lukáš Katačić in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Nicasio Quinto made the kick off in the second half. Lukáš Katačić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesario Roma having to interfere. In the 61st minute of the match, Edgardo Txaran tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luis Nardo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luis Nardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicasio Quinto in the 63rd minute. Luis Nardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Quinto in the 65th minute of play.
