With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prudencio Isias in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aytek Samin saved El Retorno de Palermo from getting behind. Aytek Samin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Waldos's David Dewulf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save The Waldos from getting a goal against them. El Retorno de Palermo's Aytek Samin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Isias in the 34th minute of play. Aytek Samin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Isias in the 37th minute of the match. If Prudencio Isias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Dewulf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Nayely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonides Nayely to strike the kick off in the second half. David Dewulf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikus Linkūns in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Prudencio Isias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aytek Samin. El Retorno de Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prudencio Isias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Prudencio Isias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aytek Samin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. With a little luck, El Retorno de Palermo's Aytek Samin got control of the ball when Prudencio Isias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kazimierz Madajczyk made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Evandro Ortiz immediately put the ball in play. If Prudencio Isias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Marin Ştefănescu took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Aytek Samin to make any attempt to save it. Prudencio Isias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aytek Samin having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, The Waldos's Prudencio Isias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aytek Samin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Dewulf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Nayely in the 83rd minute of play. El Retorno de Palermo's Aytek Samin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save El Retorno de Palermo from getting a goal against them. After 87 minutes of play, El Retorno de Palermo's Leonides Nayely made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Dewulf was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, El Retorno de Palermo's Aytek Samin got control of the ball when Prudencio Isias tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Waldos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
