Tomas Santikurtz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustão Melo got free with Ilias Atmatzidis in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Kalaš came free, but Gregorio Lehior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Ubelteso's late challenge caught a Tacheros de Buenos Aires's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Ubelteso helped the player get up and apologised. Adolfo Blanco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ilias Atmatzidis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Adolfo Blanco made the kick off in the second half. Casta FC's Ilias Atmatzidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustão Melo in the 56th minute of play. If Elias Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustão Melo during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Pavel Kalaš ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregorio Lehior was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some careless play in the Casta FC defense, Mattin Solbeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilias Atmatzidis. The Casta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilias Atmatzidis should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute Adolfo Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Atmatzidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattin Solbeida took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilias Atmatzidis. Ilias Atmatzidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After having played for 83 minutes, Pavel Kalaš managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Kalaš was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilias Atmatzidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Blanco in the 85th minute of the match. Ilias Atmatzidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Santikurtz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The Tacheros de Buenos Aires fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Tomas Santikurtz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Casta FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Pavel Kalaš hit a great ball. Tacheros de Buenos Aires were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Casta FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan-Ove Tunander took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mattin Solbeida got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ilias Atmatzidis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
