Metapalo FC's Epifanio Marques quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gerasimos Tatoulis, made in the 13th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Dante Rafe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Cervera in the 16th minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, Los Piratas FC's Jorge Cervera made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavino Belarmo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Ospin in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Gerasimos Tatoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Rafe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Piratas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Dante Rafe scored to the left of an out of position Martin Abadia, making the score, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Ospin in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Belarmo saved Metapalo FC from getting behind. Gavino Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Ospin in the 36th minute of the match. Valentin Negroni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Abadia having to make a save. In the 45th match minute, Los Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Itzaina to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes, Metapalo FC's Jacinto Baumar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martin Abadia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Metapalo FC reached it. Gavino Belarmo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Cervera went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 51st minute, Candido Ospin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Negroni, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Rafe in the 59th minute of play forced Los Piratas FC's goalkeeper Martin Abadia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Los Piratas FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Metapalo FC throughout the match.
