Paolo Gagriels short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got François-Xavier Dionnet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Desiderio Lauaxeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Quirze in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's Silvano Bide sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Lauaxeta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 0-1 became the score in the 10th minute when Remigio Quirze elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Quirze in the 15th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Desiderio Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Gagriel. Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Ruquense FC from getting a goal against them. Guillermo Sal's late challenge caught a Ruquense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Sal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tigre's Guillermo Sal got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's Leopoldo Tonio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Desiderio Lauaxeta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvano Bide's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When Basilio Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ruquense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Fernandez couldn't finish the play. Arnaldo Lore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Masao Koriotto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tigre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ruquense FC the free kick. A collision led to Tigre getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Masao Koriotto hit a great ball. The Tigre players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ruquense FC were winning 0-2.

When Tigre's Paolo Gagriel in the 50th minute got a chance for a shot 50th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ruquense FC's goalie prevented a goal. Guillermo Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Quirze in the 59th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Desiderio Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desiderio Lauaxeta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remigio Quirze's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Tigre's Desiderio Lauaxeta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Quirze in the 61st minute of play. After 63 minutes Tigre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leopoldo Tonio who took care of the corner kick. Remigio Quirze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Basilio Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Gagriel in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg François-Xavier Dionnet saved Ruquense FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Anibal Fiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desiderio Lauaxeta was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, Tigre's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Fiz came free, but Desiderio Lauaxeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Paolo Gagriel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but François-Xavier Dionnet was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After taking down the ball on Ruquense FC's corner Basilio Fernandez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Desiderio Lauaxeta quite easily take care of the ball. When the match was over Ruquense FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tigre throughout the match.
