When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ferdinand Hohenzollern sped through HURACAN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Segundo Katia. After a rather tough play, El Gallo de Moron's Allan Schubert got a free kick in the 14th minute. Johnny Gobillot came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by HURACAN's Ubaldo Guzman. But to his dismay, Ubaldo Guzman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. El Gallo de Moron's Johnny Gobillot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Guzman in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of El Gallo de Moron booed when HURACAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's Mark Ambjörnsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Segundo Katia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mark Ambjörnsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Segundo Katia came out and tried to block the shot, but Mark Ambjörnsson slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Ferdinand Hohenzollern's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Segundo Katia was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 37th minute of the match El Gallo de Moron got a corner. HURACAN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wincent Rasimowicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mark Ambjörnsson made a great header on El Gallo de Moron's corner, it was just that HURACAN's Segundo Katia managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 39th minute, El Gallo de Moron's Mark Ambjörnsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Segundo Katia. Segundo Katia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. In the 45th match minute, El Gallo de Moron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Rey to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, HURACAN's Felix Posam got a free kick in the 46th minute. With a little luck, HURACAN's Segundo Katia got control of the ball when Mark Ambjörnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ubaldo Guzman was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, HURACAN's Erasmo Cordarrol got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the game, El Gallo de Moron's Mark Ambjörnsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Segundo Katia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After having played for 57 minutes, Mark Ambjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Gallo de Moron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Ambjörnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, HURACAN's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Hohenzollern came free, but Segundo Katia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led El Gallo de Moron's Wincent Rasimowicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Segundo Katia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Johnny Gobillot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. El Gallo de Moron had won after a very even match.
