If Anselmo Tono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Ruben Ioritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Koprowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Saturnin lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Granville's Justino Frichoso was substituted for Ruben Ioritz. 55 minutes in the game Charlie Comby did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Anibal Berbiz. Rodolfo Emeterio's late challenge caught a Granville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Emeterio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to club atletico aldosivi getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Banegas in the 73rd minute of play forced club atletico aldosivi's goalkeeper Jedrzej Koprowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chi-Chi Branca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jedrzej Koprowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Jedrzej Koprowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chi-Chi Branca's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 91stth minute of the game Chi-Chi Branca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but club atletico aldosivi's Jedrzej Koprowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jedrzej Koprowski came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Granville's Chi-Chi Branca. But to his dismay, Chi-Chi Branca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the club atletico aldosivi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Granville.
