If Kim Lekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Kim Lekberg came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Club Atletico Los Andes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kim Lekberg couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, C.A.P.J.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kim Lekberg came free, but Abel Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Lekberg took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Reyes. Abel Reyes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kim Lekberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Abel Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Kim Lekberg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of C.A.P.J.'s Abel Reyes. Abel Reyes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dochko Rodev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Cresenciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Lekberg in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Kim Lekberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Reyes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 32nd minute of the match, Desiderio Kellenberger got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dochko Rodev was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 35 minutes into the match, Kim Lekberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Reyes. C.A.P.J.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Lekberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Abel Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Skager in the 40th minute of play. Club Atletico Los Andes's Tomáš Lamačka was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abel Reyes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fulgencio Eguerdi kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Lekberg in the 46th minute of play forced C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper Abel Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice moves Kim Lekberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Abel Reyes however easily saved by the left post. Abel Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Skager in the 57th minute of the match. Club Atletico Los Andes's Kim Lekberg came free and shot a quick shot against goal 61 minutes in the game, fortunately Abel Reyes had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 65 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Hitz. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Gervasio Hitz got a free kick in the 66th minute. Kim Lekberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Abel Reyes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Club Atletico Los Andes's Melquiades Belo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Omar Dolcet, made in the 70th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Kim Lekberg put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Abel Reyes. After having played for 74 minutes, Kim Lekberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Los Andes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kim Lekberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Karmel came free, but Dochko Rodev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club Atletico Los Andes getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Kim Lekberg hit a great ball. The supporters of C.A.P.J. booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Lekberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, C.A.P.J.'s Serafin Criston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dochko Rodev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. 90 minutes into the game, Kim Lekberg lined in a short shot 1-6 behind a frustrated Abel Reyes. In the 93rd minute, Kim Lekberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Reyes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. The Club Atletico Los Andes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Atletico Los Andes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
