In the 6th minute, Fabian Ascencio made a precise shot to the right of Fotis Seftelis. C.A.P.J.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, Manuel Morais cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fotis Seftelis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. C.A.P.J.'s Fotis Seftelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Rumaldo in the 14th minute of play. Fotis Seftelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Morais in the 21st minute of play. Fotis Seftelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Rumaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Honorato Kauldi notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of C.A.P.J.'s Fotis Seftelis. Fotis Seftelis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Rumaldo in the 37th minute of play forced C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper Fotis Seftelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Cresenciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.A.P.J.'s Michal Randák got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The C.A.P.J. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mercedes were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Manuel Morais made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Mercedes's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Randák came free, but Augusto Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Michal Randák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Arnoldo Iratxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mercedes made a substitution. Melquiades Chinto replaced Filiberto Pinto. Mercedes's Alvaro Abar was substituted for Albino Feliu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorato Kauldi got free with Fotis Seftelis in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mercedes's Jan-Ivar Nordmo was substituted for Honorato Kauldi. Serafin Criston blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Ellande having to make a save. 73 minutes into the match, C.A.P.J.'s goal looked a bit too open when Santo Rumaldo came free, but Fotis Seftelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Mercedes's Fotis Seftelis threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manuel Morais, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arnoldo Iratxo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Fotis Seftelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Rumaldo in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper Fotis Seftelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santo Rumaldo. In the 84th minute Fabian Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fotis Seftelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Manuel Morais recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fotis Seftelis. Manuel Morais showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Fotis Seftelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Cresenciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Jan-Ivar Nordmo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fotis Seftelis, 0-7. Mercedes's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
