A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Javier Richie got a free kick in the 4th minute. Leopoldo Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Pasqual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlethico Talleres's Basilio Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Asier in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Sixto Odon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlethico Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Odon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ranko Kvarantan in the 22nd minute of the match. Club Atlethico Talleres's Basilio Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Asier in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Quinto in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Jobo saved Club Atlethico Talleres from getting behind. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Godfredo Ascencio hit a great ball. Wilfredo Quinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Frechoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute, Ranko Kvarantan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Asier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Filomeno Pasqual notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur. Leopoldo Lastur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Club Atlethico Talleres were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filomeno Pasqual made a kick off. Sixto Odon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Club Atlethico Talleres's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Filomeno Pasqual took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Lastur. Leopoldo Lastur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Odon in the 70th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Arnoldo Orgaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlethico Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Orgaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Club Atlethico Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Napier to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Club Atlethico Talleres getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Teodosio Napier hit a great ball. If Filomeno Pasqual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ranko Kvarantan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Lastur having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Dario Gaizko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leones FC and the Club Atlethico Talleres players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur got control of the ball when Filomeno Pasqual tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Club Atlethico Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Quinto came free, but Basilio Jobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Sixto Odon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlethico Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Odon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Lastur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Nestor Rito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Pasqual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Leones FC's zone, Ernesto Estavan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Lastur came out of the goal and Ernesto Estavan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Leones FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atlethico Talleres were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
