Armando Fasolis short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Haiko Muradyan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Haiko Muradyan came out of the goal and Goren Baños tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's goalkeeper Haiko Muradyan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Goren Baños. After a rather tough play, 1947 FC's Cristobal Baumar got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Goren Baños's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gonzalito de PuertoMadryn's goalkeeper Haiko Muradyan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 1947 FC's Marcelino Nuxila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Padro in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Melchor Xacintu managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1947 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Xacintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haiko Muradyan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The 1947 FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Battal Gazi Özdil to strike the kick off in the second half.
