With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Augusto do Valle in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Björkdahl saved República de la Boca from getting behind. Bernardino Ruisko kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Ermegildo Blai's late challenge caught a República de la Boca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Blai helped the player get up and apologised. Jonatan Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Llorenc in the 39th minute of play. Andreas Björkdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Maximino Oliverio charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximino Oliverio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Augusto do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Augusto do Valle to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Bernardino Ruisko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Carlos Augusto do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Augusto do Valle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Andreas Björkdahl when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 63 played minutes, República de la Boca's Alberto-Federico Acosta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonatan Donio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in República de la Boca reached it. República de la Boca's Andreas Björkdahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save República de la Boca from getting a goal against them. Andreas Björkdahl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horacio Medardo in the 69th minute. Carlos Augusto do Valle's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Andreas Björkdahl skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
