Igor Cesaro hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FF Forever's zone, Isaias Fonda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breno Brodel came out of the goal and Isaias Fonda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Breno Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Fonda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tales Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Jusepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FF Forever were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Imperio Cordobés FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristian Abancens took the corner. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonides Jaen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Imperio Cordobés FC's Higinio Enekoitz got a free kick in the 81st minute. Isaias Fonda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Eustacio Ermano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FF Forever fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Moise in the 90th minute of play forced Imperio Cordobés FC's goalkeeper Tales Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breno Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabino Brites, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
