Roberto Peter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Åke Abelsson went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ulises Gartzen sped through DAMIAN TEAM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto Peter. Roberto Peter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Abelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes DAMIAN TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Gonchan. After a defensive mix-up in Grosso United's zone, Joaquin Quintin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Bladi came out of the goal and Joaquin Quintin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Ulises Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grosso United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Gartzen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute, Åke Abelsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Peter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The audience was convinced that Ulises Gartzen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Peter was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Roberto Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Gartzen in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Ulises Gartzen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grosso United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Ulises Gartzen might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roberto Peter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulises Gartzen ran back to his position shaking his head. Åke Abelsson took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Peter. Roberto Peter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Åke Abelsson put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Peter. When Grosso United's Ulises Gartzen in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DAMIAN TEAM's goalie prevented a goal. In the 46th minute, Ulises Gartzen made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Peter. DAMIAN TEAM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. After the first half Grosso United were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquin Quintin to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo da Costa got free with Roberto Peter in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 54 minutes DAMIAN TEAM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fikri Bera who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ulises Gartzen heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 57 minutes into the match, Åke Abelsson notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of DAMIAN TEAM's Roberto Peter. Roberto Peter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Grosso United made a substitution. Brandon Bayart replaced Åke Abelsson. Ulises Gartzen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-9 to the left of a surprised Roberto Peter 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, DAMIAN TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Bidun to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Gustavo da Costa put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Peter. After 71 minutes, Ulises Gartzen made it 0-11 with a short kick to the right side. DAMIAN TEAM's Roberto Peter tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Cayetano Xacintu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grosso United's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Xacintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Peter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo da Costa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Grosso United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Grosso United made a substitution. Reynaldo Pietro replaced Ulises Gartzen. 83 minutes into the game, Celso Barto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DAMIAN TEAM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grosso United the free kick. 83 minutes into the game, one of DAMIAN TEAM:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Reynaldo Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 90 in the game by Reynaldo Pietro from a close distance when the talented Roberto Peter managed to make a qualified save. DAMIAN TEAM's players were relieved. Reynaldo Pietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gustavo da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grosso United's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo da Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Peter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gustavo da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Grosso United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo da Costa couldn't finish the play. Reynaldo Pietro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Roberto Peter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. DAMIAN TEAM's Roberto Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo da Costa in the 98th minute of play. After some careless play in the DAMIAN TEAM defense, Gustavo da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Peter. The DAMIAN TEAM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Peter should have stopped the shot. The DAMIAN TEAM fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grosso United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
