After 4 minutes of play, Santa Margarita's Andréas Hasselqvist made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 8th minute of the match XENEIXES FC got a corner. Santa Margarita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frits Nabe ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to XENEIXES FC's Mariano Tabb getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 10th minute, Gerardo Lordi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 15th minute Witomir Pisarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Kinic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Frits Nabe managed to get in a good position for a shot. XENEIXES FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frits Nabe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pontus Nordström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pontus Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frits Nabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, XENEIXES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Fertus to maneuver through the defense. The referee gave Santa Margarita a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eduardo De Francesco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of XENEIXES FC's Damazy Kinic. 3-1. Pontus Nordström made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Frits Nabe sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Icardi in the 87th minute of play forced XENEIXES FC's goalkeeper Damazy Kinic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi managed to work through XENEIXES FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Mauro Icardi dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when XENEIXES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Salvatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Denis Chano fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored XENEIXES FC's protests and gave Denis Chano a yellow card for diving instead. Denis Chano kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Chano in the 94th minute of play forced Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santa Margarita walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
