But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edílson Souza couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Edílson Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lookman Loody was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The supporters of Fifth Chicken booed when Tomitak Wrocław was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lookman Loody was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sylwester Dziuma during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fifth Chicken's Sylwester Dziuma got a free kick in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugeniusz Tyskie in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dobri Koks prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edílson Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edílson Souza in the 47th minute of play forced Tomitak Wrocław's goalkeeper Lookman Loody to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Tomitak Wrocław players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fifth Chicken were winning 0-2.

But to his dismay, Waldemar Tipinski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Waldemar Tipinski might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lookman Loody. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldemar Tipinski ran back to his position shaking his head. Dobri Koks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Filanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
