The referee showed Krzysztof Jajecznica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes MKS Legion Częstochowa got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Jajecznica. In the 16thth minute of the game Pawel Wielowiejski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MKS Legion Częstochowa's Paco Dean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Valter Festas came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the MKS Legion Częstochowa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valter Festas couldn't finish the play. Pawel Wielowiejski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paco Dean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valter Festas made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richie Puch in the 60th minute of play forced MKS Legion Częstochowa's goalkeeper Paco Dean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paco Dean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richie Puch's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Gwarek Zabrze's Łukasz Fabiański played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Festas in the 63rd minute of play. If Czeslaw Banan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paco Dean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawel Wielowiejski in the 73rd minute of the match. Paco Dean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richie Puch in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Valter Festas managed to get in a good position for a shot. MKS Legion Częstochowa's supporters rose to their feet, but Valter Festas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Łukasz Fabiański breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paco Dean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawel Wielowiejski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valter Festas in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Łukasz Fabiański saved Gwarek Zabrze from getting behind. Valter Festas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Łukasz Fabiański having to interfere.
