Lechia Gdańsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roch Karbowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Fenieux in the 7th minute of play forced Gortaty's goalkeeper Kryspin Kaminski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Fenieux received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kryspin Kaminski came out and tried to block the shot, but Edward Fenieux slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gortaty's zone, Roch Karbowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kryspin Kaminski came out of the goal and Roch Karbowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Milosz Czerwiec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kryspin Kaminski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucjan Lanczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziemowit Furlit, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes of play, Lechia Gdańsk's Milosz Czerwiec made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kryspin Kaminski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kryspin Kaminski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vitaliy Kinyapin. Gortaty's Kryspin Kaminski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Chaves in the 25th minute of play. Milosz Czerwiec did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Kryspin Kaminski 28 minutes into the match. Wincent Cwojdak's late challenge caught a Lechia Gdańsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wincent Cwojdak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Cwojdak to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Milosz Czerwiec made a precise shot to the right of Kryspin Kaminski. Gortaty's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 38th minute, Edward Fenieux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Lechia Gdańsk's Milosz Czerwiec ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kryspin Kaminski. Kryspin Kaminski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. In the 43rd play minute Roch Karbowski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kryspin Kaminski. 6-0. Kryspin Kaminski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Burowski in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wincent Cwojdak was the one to do the kick off. Kryspin Kaminski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milosz Czerwiec in the 51st minute of the match. Renato Chaves scored 7-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kryspin Kaminski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Przemyslaw Mroczynski in the 56th minute of play forced Gortaty's goalkeeper Kryspin Kaminski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kryspin Kaminski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Czerwiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Lechia Gdańsk's Edward Fenieux nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kryspin Kaminski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Kryspin Kaminski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Fenieux in the 71st minute of play. Radowit Siedlecki kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Fenieux in the 75th minute of play forced Gortaty's goalkeeper Kryspin Kaminski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Bernard Burowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Karbowski came free, but Kryspin Kaminski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Mateusz Waselenczuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
