An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Hallam in the 18th minute of play forced SazobaSpor's goalkeeper Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilário Bento succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 23rd playminute. Larry Hallams short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. SazobaSpor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Larry Hallam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Marin Lipets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov having to interfere. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vivant's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stasio Zawadzki was slow to take the kick. During this time SazobaSpor's players had a chance to rest. Stasio Zawadzki made a great header on SazobaSpor's corner, it was just that Vivant's A.J. 关平 managed to reach the ball for a save. SazobaSpor's Mala Kicia got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Larry Hallam in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov saved SazobaSpor from getting behind. In the 91stth minute of the game Larry Hallam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SazobaSpor's Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
