Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ethan Stiles started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ethan Stiles in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andriy Trubin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andriy Trubin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ethan Stiles went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Ethan Stiles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andriy Trubin. FC Rukh Lviv's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ethan Stiles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ethan Stiles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andriy Trubin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Ethan Stiles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andriy Trubin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. FC Shakhtar Donetsk were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after FC Rukh Lviv's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radowit Kapinos took the corner. FC Rukh Lviv's Andriy Trubin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halil İbrahim Yağıztekin in the 31st minute of play. Andriy Trubin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ethan Stiles's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 38 minutes into the game, Ethan Stiles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Andriy Trubin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the FC Rukh Lviv defense, Ethan Stiles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andriy Trubin. The FC Rukh Lviv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andriy Trubin should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the game, Ilya Matvienko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Rukh Lviv's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Shakhtar Donetsk the free kick. Ethan Stiles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladyslav Didyk was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Andriy Trubin managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Ethan Stiles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Ethan Stiles took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Andriy Trubin to make any attempt to save it. Damien Blake sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 62 minutes into the match, FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Damien Blake sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andriy Trubin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Damien Blake made a precise shot to the right of Andriy Trubin. FC Rukh Lviv's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Andriy Trubin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ethan Stiles, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ilya Matvienko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Natalio Peter. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard shot 73 in the game by Ethan Stiles from a close distance when the talented Andriy Trubin managed to make a qualified save. FC Rukh Lviv's players were relieved. Ethan Stiles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andriy Trubin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Ethan Stiles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andriy Trubin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ethan Stiles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andriy Trubin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Ethan Stiles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andriy Trubin. The goal made the score 0-10. Ethan Stiles let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 83rd minute shot 0-11 at rihgt post. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Natalio Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladyslav Didyk in the 85th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of FC Rukh Lviv:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Shakhtar Donetsk:s goal. In the 89th minute FC Shakhtar Donetsk were awarded a corner. Radowit Kapinos went to the cornerflag to take it. Damien Blake made a great header on FC Shakhtar Donetsk's corner, it was just that FC Rukh Lviv's Andriy Trubin managed to reach the ball for a save. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Damien Blake got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ethan Stiles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andriy Trubin. That made the score 0-12 in the 93 minute of play. When the match was over FC Shakhtar Donetsk could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Rukh Lviv throughout the match.
