An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Dropinski in the 21st minute of play forced OMONOIA's goalkeeper Koios Panayiotopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Miltos Kotsovolos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Koios Panayiotopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Koios Panayiotopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Kotsovolos, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, OMONOIA's goal looked a bit too open when 孟振邦 came free, but Koios Panayiotopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Koios Panayiotopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孟振邦 in the 47th minute of play. After the first half FC Pegasas Siauliai were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiktor Dropinski was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, OMONOIA's Honorio Vergas got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Wiktor Dropinski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Koios Panayiotopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 59 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Araújo came free, but Pavel Romanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Pegasas Siauliai's 孟振邦 got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Juras Tolvaiša fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Pegasas Siauliai's protests and gave Juras Tolvaiša a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of OMONOIA booed when FC Pegasas Siauliai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juras Tolvaiša didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorio Vergas hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes OMONOIA got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Zanette. After a rather tough play, OMONOIA's Nassos Glynatsis got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Miromir Bilicki sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and OMONOIA's Koios Panayiotopoulos didn't even have to move. 孟振邦 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Koios Panayiotopoulos made a huge save. In the 80th minute of the match FC Pegasas Siauliai got a corner. OMONOIA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miromir Bilicki ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emil Torstensson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, OMONOIA's Napoleon Kiewra got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Koios Panayiotopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Spets in the 88th minute of the match. Koios Panayiotopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miltos Kotsovolos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shaun Lucas during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The OMONOIA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Pegasas Siauliai were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
