The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Chavez got free with Jon Iruegas in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Chavez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Jon Iruegas made a huge save. Herbert Mindykowski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Jon Iruegas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 9th match minute, SC SU-57 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Suarbol to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Chavez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Jon Iruegas made a huge save. 10 minutes into the game, Herbert Mindykowski lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Jon Iruegas. In the 15th match minute, Flamengo de San Blás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Chavez to maneuver through the defense. Fernanco Peso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Agurto having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernanco Peso in the 18th minute of play forced Flamengo de San Blás's goalkeeper Ramon Agurto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jon Iruegas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Chavez in the 20th minute. Fernanco Peso took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Agurto. Ramon Agurto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jon Iruegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Totín Garcia De Paredes in the 27th minute of play. Jon Iruegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Mindykowski in the 34th minute of the match. Jon Iruegas made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Gabriel Chavez sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Mindykowski made a kick off. Herbert Mindykowski scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jon Iruegas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute Herbert Mindykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Iruegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC SU-57's Jon Iruegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Mindykowski in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's Herbert Mindykowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon Iruegas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jon Iruegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Mindykowski in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's goalkeeper Ramon Agurto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernanco Peso. After having played for 75 minutes, Herbert Mindykowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo de San Blás's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert Mindykowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC SU-57's Jon Iruegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Mindykowski in the 79th minute of play. Flamengo de San Blás's Miguel Fernández was substituted for Herbert Mindykowski. After a rather tough play, Flamengo de San Blás's Alexsandro Marquez got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Fernanco Peso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramon Agurto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernanco Peso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 minutes of play, Flamengo de San Blás's Miguel Fernández made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jon Iruegas was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Flamengo de San Blás were the better team. Flamengo de San Blás's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
