Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Agustin Barrantes made the kick off which started today's match. CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save CS La Libertad from getting a goal against them. A collision led to CS La Libertad getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Luis Martinez hit a great ball. In the 6th minute Agustin Barrantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Papadimitriou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Marco Ureña. The crowd rose to their feet as Hermes Zambrano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ernesto Monge. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Gottfrid Kjellbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ernesto Monge made a huge save. In the 17th minute, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Tonni Bynge ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernesto Monge. Ernesto Monge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 21st match minute, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gottfrid Kjellbom to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match Luis Marin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thanasis Papadimitriou showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match, Gottfrid Kjellbom tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernesto Monge saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 25 minutes CS La Libertad's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jens-Ove Backlund who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Hermes Zambrano getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Thanasis Papadimitriou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Barrantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Gottfrid Kjellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Tonni Bynge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Omar Guevara. Hermes Zambrano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ernesto Monge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

CS La Libertad's Miguel Volio was substituted for Marco Ureña. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gottfrid Kjellbom to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Henríguez came free, but Ernesto Monge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonni Bynge in the 56th minute of play. CS La Libertad's Rodrigo Lobo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Miguel Volio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Papadimitriou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Miguel Volio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tolga Tara made in the 66th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hermes Zambrano. 70 minutes into the match, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Volio came free, but Thanasis Papadimitriou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rodrigo Lobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CS La Libertad's Gerardo Millot was substituted for Rodrigo Lobo. If Gerardo Millot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanasis Papadimitriou was a little too slow when Gerardo Millot got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Volio in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thanasis Papadimitriou saved GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. from getting behind. Wilfredo Henríguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ernesto Monge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. made a substitution. Alberto Jaen replaced Hermes Zambrano. In the 86th minute Mykyta Sakhnevych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Monge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gerardo Millot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. made a substitution. Heraclides Quirós replaced Wilfredo Henríguez. In the 96th minute, Jens-Ove Backlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the CS La Libertad players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C..
