In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Velez-Malaga's goalkeeper Angelino Lawrence, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 12 minutes, Edmund Dulemba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Velez-Malaga and the Cañamero C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Velez-Malaga getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Edmund Dulemba hit a great ball. Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolito Appe in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Crescencio Guijarro made the kick off in the second half. Cañamero C.F.'s Misael Solera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crescencio Guijarro in the 51st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Angelino Lawrence successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Velez-Malaga's attentive Emeterio Aznar managed to snatch the ball when Macias Morera made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Velez-Malaga's goalkeeper Angelino Lawrence had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urtungo Santander. In the 83rd minute, Xian Vacas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes Velez-Malaga got a freekick which was hit by Xian Vacas. Manolito Appe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelino Lawrence having to make a save. In the 91st match minute, Cañamero C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolito Appe to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes in the game Macias Morera did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Illan Fernandez. In the 94th minute, Adrianinho Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
