Jan Wessel was a little too slow when Tor-Egil Gjertsen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's Dolf Schoonderwoerd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Falco Pruischer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernard Kolano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Jan Wessel made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, Who Ate All Depay's goal looked a bit too open when Ate Kloppenburg came free, but Falco Pruischer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, The Underdogs's Jan Wessel got control of the ball when Alex Volponi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match, Tor-Egil Gjertsen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan Wessel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Frank de Boer hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in The Underdogs's zone, Tor-Egil Gjertsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Wessel came out of the goal and Tor-Egil Gjertsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Wessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor-Egil Gjertsen in the 35th minute of the match. Falco Pruischer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ate Kloppenburg in the 36th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Who Ate All Depay's goal looked a bit too open when Piearres Olalla came free, but Falco Pruischer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falco Pruischer came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by The Underdogs's Piearres Olalla. But to his dismay, Piearres Olalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, Who Ate All Depay's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Boelens came free, but Falco Pruischer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Robin Boelens made a precise shot to the right of Falco Pruischer. Who Ate All Depay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Who Ate All Depay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Underdogs were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Bernard Kolano made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Falco Pruischer managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when The Underdogs's Piearres Olalla fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jan Wessel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Volponi, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Tor-Egil Gjertsen kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Volponi in the 60th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Who Ate All Depay were awarded a corner. Tor-Egil Gjertsen went to the cornerflag to take it. If Robin Boelens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After taking down the ball on The Underdogs's corner Iustin Hațegan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Falco Pruischer quite easily take care of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Iustin Hațegan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustin Hațegan to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robin Boelens got free with Falco Pruischer in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Underdogs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tor-Egil Gjertsen was slow to take the kick. During this time Who Ate All Depay's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Leonides Licerio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Underdogs's Jan Wessel did a great save. 85 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Roel Ravenbergen came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The Underdogs had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
