Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Albertus FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Vorenkamp in the 7th minute of play forced Albertus FC's goalkeeper Ted Stroobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Ferdi Vorenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Stroobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inácio Amaral had several of the Albertus FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ted Stroobos as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ted Stroobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Rodenboog, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goalkeeper Ted Stroobos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Amaral. De Kasteelheren's Inácio Amaral was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 18th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 20 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's Anthony Hillen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ted Stroobos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute De Kasteelheren were awarded a corner. Hayden Hoebe went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 26thth minute of the game Inácio Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute Inácio Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Stroobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. De Kasteelheren's Fokke Meijeringh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harm Bosschaart in the 31st minute of play. Harold Rodenboog's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ted Stroobos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Inácio Amaral put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ted Stroobos. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gertjan van Damme during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 47 minutes into the game, Cristo Guzman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albertus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Kasteelheren the free kick. After 47 played minutes Albertus FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Guzman. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inácio Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Harold Rodenboog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Stroobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inácio Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Stroobos having to interfere. Ted Stroobos came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by De Kasteelheren's Harold Rodenboog. But to his dismay, Harold Rodenboog quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Zhou Kang Cheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Fokke Meijeringh made a huge save. In the 73rd match minute, De Kasteelheren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Ensar İsmet to maneuver through the defense. Fokke Meijeringh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhou Kang Cheng in the 77th minute. Ted Stroobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Amaral in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Albertus FC's Cristo Guzman got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ted Stroobos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harold Rodenboog's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Harold Rodenboog put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ted Stroobos. There was no doubt that De Kasteelheren were the better team. De Kasteelheren's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
